Enrolment Terms & Conditions
To ensure the health and safety of your pet and of other guests, we require that all of our clients comply with the following rules and regulations:
Days & Hours:
First Day:
All new dogs must be here at 7am on their first day – This is to familiarise the dog with the environment before the other dogs arrive.
Age:
All dogs must be 4 months of age or older before commencing day care. Puppies must have been at home for 2 weeks prior to coming to day care.
Shelter Dogs:
Shelter dogs and/or adopted dogs must have been in their new home for a minimum of 3 months prior to his/her first day care admission.
Sex:
All dogs over the age of 7 months must be neutered or spayed. Owners must submit official documentation as proof.
Vaccinations:
All dogs must have up to date vaccinations. Owners must submit official documentation as proof that their dog/s has a current C5 vaccination, which includes Canine Cough.
Health:
All dogs must be in good health. Owners will need to certify that their dog is in good health and has not been ill in the last 30 days. On admission, all dogs must be free from any illness/condition that could potentially be communicated to other dogs.
Behaviour:
Owners will need to certify that their dog has not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behaviour towards any persons or other dogs. We will accept your verbal assurance.
Doggy Daycare Rates:
1 Visit per week (1 dog) $50 (2 dogs) $94
2 Visits per week (1 dog) $94 (2 dogs) $188
Additional Visits $47.00 per day
Payment: Ezidebit system will be set up once trial is successful
**Minimum of 1 visit per week is required.
Grooming:
Grooming appointments can be made at any time via our online booking form. Cancellation can be made 48 hours prior to appointment. This is to give us enough time to fill your spot. Bookings cancelled less than 24 hours’ notice, may incur a cancellation fee to be paid at the next appointment.
What to bring:
Your dog must have a quick release collar with ID tag and be walked on a lead at all times to and from the Centre. All items should be clearly labelled with your dog’s name. Please no choker chains/martingales/pin buckle collars as they are a hazard when playing with other dogs. Please do not bring personal items like toys or bones as this is a cage free environment, and we cannot guarantee their exclusive use. We have treats and plenty of toys.
Medication:
Please clearly label medications and include written instruction with your dog’s name, type of medication, dosage and frequency. Please alert us in advance if you know your dog will require medication. Pooches playroom reserves the right to refuse a dog to day care if they display signs of a communicable illness or are taking medication for the same. Please understand this is to ensure the general health and welfare of all dogs in our care.
Orientations and Assessments:
Orientations and assessment times are available by appointment only. You must bring your dog to the appointment so we can assess their suitability for day care. A $20.00 fee applies for the orientation and assessment process. This will also give your dog the opportunity to become familiar with the environment before their trial day. Please be aware that we only accept well socialised dogs.
